Community Pet Registration Questions, Answered
Pricing, implementation, hardware, documents, and branding - the questions property managers and HOA boards ask us most.
What types of communities can use MyPetDMV?
Apartment communities, homeowners and condominium associations, property management companies, mobile-home communities, senior-living communities, registration organizations, and other pet-friendly residential communities.
How much does community pet registration cost?
Starter Community is $89 per month with a $199 one-time setup fee and covers up to 100 residential units and 50 pets. Professional Community is $149 per month with a $299 setup fee and covers up to 300 units and 150 pets. Property Management programs are custom quoted.
Can each community create its own pet registration requirements?
Yes. The platform is being designed so each community can define its own required fields, documents, pet limits, and policy rules.
Can residents register more than one pet?
Yes. Residents will be able to register multiple pets under one household, subject to your community's pet policy.
Will physical pet identification cards be available?
Yes. Physical identification cards and tags are planned as an option, produced using our existing personalized pet identification capabilities.
Can communities use their own logo and branding?
Community-branded registration pages and identification products are planned for the Professional and Property Management programs.
Will the system support vaccination records?
Vaccination document tracking is a planned capability, allowing communities to collect and review records alongside each pet's registration.
Can property management companies manage multiple properties?
Yes. Multi-property support with a centralized portfolio overview and property-level administrators is planned for the Property Management program.
How long does implementation take?
Onboarding is included in the setup fee and covers branding configuration, requirement setup, and administrator training. Most single-community programs are designed to be configured and opened to residents within a few weeks of kickoff.
Is any hardware required?
No. MyPetDMV is a web-based platform, and pet tags use printed QR codes rather than scanners or readers, so no hardware purchase or installation is required.
Is the portal currently available?
MyPetDMV Community Pet Management is currently being developed. We are speaking with communities and property managers to help shape the initial release and partnership programs.
